OYT is:

MC Busta – friends know him as bustaott, the general public as a radio show host at Raadio 2, a beatbox enthusiast and the number one drum’n’bass MC in Estonia.

Sander Mölder – Seven years of cello tuition set the stage for Sander Mölder’s musical exploits, granular synthesis and electro-acoustics, he is now the driving force behind OYT’s music. Currently working on his masters degree in composition from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, he has played in and produced for various bands and projects. Once a member of the Estonian nu-jazz group Cosmoskva, he now splits his time between his solo career and current projects OYT, State of Zoe and Righteous Jazz Citizens. You can catch him playing keyboards in Leslie Da Bass live outfit, doing solo live performances with a laptop and a controller or playing one of his trademark soulful eclectic DJ-sets. Sander was recently chosen as the “one-to-watch-for-in-2012” by Estonian newspaper Eesti Ekspress and he also joined the chosen few when he got selected as a participant for the 2011 Red Bull Music Academy.

DJ S.I.N – the man behind the sound of OYT is widely regarded as the number one drum’n’bass DJ and producer in Estonia who’s been active in the scene since 1998. He has been releasing drum’n’bass and dubstep originals and remixes under record labels like Spearhead, Formation, Hospital, Med School, Viper, Nemesis, World Of Drum’n’Bass, DSCI4, XSDubz, Umblu, Lejal Globe, MUM, Pepermint Jam, ROTD and Mindnote. His collabo track with Mutated Forms titled “Right Now” found it’s way on dnb icon Goldie’s FabricLive mix album in 2011. He has been working with sound for TV, radio ads & films, as well as arranging sound for various shows and performances. S.I.N has a residency at one of the biggest local dnb nights called “Sin City” – which, by the way, has been voted the best drum’n’bass event in Estonia every year since 2005. He also does a special monthly mix-show on national Raadio 2 alongside Raul Saaremets – the grand old man of the local club scene.

Drummer Kaspar Kalluste has been collaborating with top local jazz and pop acts for years. He has been honored with the Young Jazz Talent Award in 2012 and picked as the drummer for Raadio 2’s “Dream Band” in 2013. He has graduated from G. Ots Music School majoring in pop-jazz percussion, studied at Malmö Academy of Music and earned his master’s degree at Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. In pop music, there’s a long list of concerts, studio recordings, albums and TV shows where he has appeared, including the absolute top of Estonian pop acts (Tanel Padar & The Sun, Ines, Ivo Linna, Kerli Kõiv, Maarja-Liis Ilus, Koit Toome, Hendrik Sal-Saller, Mihkel Raud, Ott Lepland and many others). His newest venture in the world of electronic music is called Würffel (with Marvi Vallaste and Tarvi Kull).

Those different backgrounds, experiences and perceptions of music merge together to create sounds that go through barriers of genres and styles. Whether it’s hip-hop, house, rnb, dubstep, drum’n’bass or jazz, we label it as the electronic soul of OYT.
